HISTORICAL MUSEUM

The Eagle Historical Museum is located in the heart of downtown Eagle and features a collection of historical materials and period specific items and photos that document the heritage, development, and growth of Eagle since the late 1880's. Although small in size, the museum captures the transformation of Eagle over the past 130+ years which is vast to say the least.

Although the museum has been located downtown since 2001, that’s all about to change. On July 2, 2019, the council voted to sell the museum property to the Eagle Urban Renewal Agency, which plans to tear down the 72-year-old building to make way for something new. There is talk about building a two or three story property that’ll include retail and commercial space on the first floor with office and residential space above.

This change reflects the extreme growth that the Eagle area has experienced within the last decade. The future of downtown is only going to expand and grow with the new demands and opportunities of the residents.

EAGLE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (EPAC)

The Eagle Performing Arts Center trains and prepares student performers for meaningful and long lasting relationships with the arts. Offering ballet, tap, jazz and modern programs to students from kindergarten to adult, EPAC students have gone on to the Boston Conservatory, the Universal Ballet Academy in Washington D.C. and many others. EPAC has been known to have “One of the strongest dance training programs in the Northwest Region…” - Idaho Statesman

Don’t make the false conclusion that EPAC is only for the kids. They offer a wide range of adult classes for all ability levels including Dance for Parkinson’s, Dance Fitness, Scottish Country Dancing, and Ballroom Dancing.
