The Luxury of Eagle

Why is Eagle, Idaho being labeled as one of the hottest luxury markets in the nation?
It’s no secret that the Treasure Valley has been labeled one of the fastest-growing areas in all of the nation. Continuously showing up on top-rated lists each year, how can we be surprised that thousands of people are curious to see what the area has to offer? Those who call Eagle, Idaho home know it to be a special place for many reasons. According to a recent report from Berman & Pollinger highlighting the hottest luxury markets in March of 2021 - Eagle, Idaho was named #1 and has held that spot for the last 3 years. Data is pulled from the top ⅓ of each market with average home prices of $750,000 or higher. Also taken into consideration are executive-style homes (featuring 4-5 bedrooms) and homes in the top 10% of the community.
What makes Eagle, Idaho so luxurious? Here we explore some reasons why we think this special small town is being named one of the most luxurious cities in all of America:
A small-town feel, but with close proximity to shopping and activities - it serves the best of both worlds for families wanting a close-knit community but also having access to the hustle and bustle of a city vibe. Less than 30 minutes from downtown Boise - this checks both of those boxes. Above all, the residents of Eagle are committed to helping those around them with many volunteer opportunities ranging from assisting the Eagle Arts Commission which helps coordinate the Family Fun Night in July and the Winter Holiday Quilt and Fiber Arb Exhibit, to helping to maintain the Eagle Public Works and Trails Department.
The last few years have brought a rise in beautiful, elegant communities highlighting custom-built homes in lush neighborhoods. Williamson River Ranch, Creighton Woods, Mace River Ranch, and Legacy are just a few to name. Some set along the Boise River with direct access to the Greenbelt, and others perfectly poised in water-front communities, and many hosting a plethora of amenities to satisfy a family’s wish list. Amenities don’t stop with the neighborhoods, though. You can find a variety of outside amenities close to home like the Eagle Tennis Club. Don’t let the name fool you -- they also offer pickleball and fitness classes.
We can’t discuss the appeal of Eagle without talking about the food scene. With a number of restaurants opening in a wide array of genres; you will have no problem finding a new favorite place to have breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a great cocktail. New faces in the area are Crave Kitchen and Bar - a must-have experience is the rooftop deck and their signature cocktails, to Coffee and Supply Co. - a cozy, relaxed atmosphere to help start your day or grab a locally sourced artisan snack. You can also book “Betsy” their aptly named coffee cart for your next event.
Last but not least, the endless opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors are probably the most special characteristic of all. Enjoy a bike ride or walk along the Boise River with miles of the Boise Greenbelt to keep you busy. The Eagle Foothills sits on the Northside of the city allowing for hours of family-friendly activities.
Eagle Island State Park is nestled right in between the North and South Forks of the Boise River and boasts 545 acres of recreational activities. Also enjoyed by locals is the swimming beach, a water slide (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day), 5 miles of walking/hiking trails, and zip-lining. The tubing on Snow Hill is a hit in the winter.
